Description
Tessa takes a client-centered approach to counseling by integrating multiple different therapeutic methods based on the clients needs. She seeks to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients can explore the areas in their lives or relationships that need validation, support, healing, or change.
In her work with both individuals and couples, Tessa works with the client to explore the ways in which present and past family systems, relationships, and experiences inform behaviors, thoughts, and decisions. She supports individuals who are struggling with depressions, anxiety, grief, self-esteem issues, work-related stress, life adjustments, and relationship conflict.
In addition to her work with individuals, Tessa also works with couples to identify relationship strengths as well as restore areas in their relationship where distress and dissatisfaction has taken over. She also provides premarital counseling for dating or engaged couples.
