Tina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing counseling in Redmond and the surrounding areas. She has experience seeing a wide range of clients, from adolescents through adulthood.

She has experience working with individuals, couples, and groups. She comes to counseling from a mainly humanistic standpoint, believing that every person is doing the best they know how to do and moving towards their true selves. There are many, many different ways to be in this world, many identities we put on and take off throughout the day, and it is a struggle at times to feel authentically one’s self under all the pressures we face. It is Tina’s hope to help people feel worthy of loving and accepting themselves

Tina has worked extensively with individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma throughout their lives. She works with clients to begin the healing process, and eventually work towards integrating these experiences so that the person feels whole and complete. After experiencing trauma, it is often difficult to find meaning within the chaos. There are many different stages of the healing process, from developing skills to handle the trauma and crisis through acceptance and processing. Through her own hardships and difficulties, she has found some lights that can guide the way through the darkness, and her goal is to blend her training and life experience to provide highly effective counseling.

Tina's clients span many walks of life, including teens, working professionals, singles, couples and those who identify as LGBTQIA and other gender minorities.

Tina has a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University. She uses many different theories and techniques, utilizing those best suited to the client’s needs and desires. She has been trained in REBT, DBT, mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, relational life therapy, and humanistic counseling.
