He has a background in middle and high school education with clinical experiences working in community mental health, crisis and emergency stabilization units, inpatient substance abuse treatment and psychiatric treatment facilities, and corrections settings for eight years.

Bruce has his Bachelor of Science in Communications and Theology and his Master of Arts in Counseling from Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon.
