Heather Waldvogel, LMHC

Heather is a License Mental Health Counselor providing individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults in Redmond, Kirkland and the greater Eastside communities.

She enjoys working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including children (ages 5+), and adolescents struggling with behavioral, social and emotional issues. She uses an empathic and fun approach to help clients build coping skills and promote better emotional health. She also provides parental support and guidance to help parents gain understanding.

Additionally, Heather sees young adult and adult clients for a variety of needs including anxiety, depression, parenting issues, dealing with transitions, building coping skills, and more.

With children, she utilizes a variety of therapeutic play and art techniques to create opportunities for emotional expression and skill-building. She believes that using a compassionate approach with her clients is essential in promoting change. Heather provides treatment both in-person and virtually.

Education and Training

Heather is a licensed provider in the state of Washington and holds a Master of Science in Community Counseling from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, as well as Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oklahoma State University.
