Anxiety is a state of being in which an individual experiences a range of emotional and physical symptoms resulting from emotional, physical or mental stress.  Chronic anxiety develops when individuals live with daily stressors which are not resolved.

Symptoms of Anxiety


  • Increased thirst or hunger

  • Loss of appetite

  • Nervous body movements

  • Tightening of the chest or difficulty breathing

  • Dizziness

  • Blurred vision

  • Fear of losing control

  • Fear of dying

  • Fear of mental illness

  • Feeling like crying for no reason

  • Immobility

  • Dry mouth

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Blushing
