Regain clarity in your identity

Dissociative Disorders are a group of mental health diagnoses that cause individuals to experience changes and interruptions of internal and/or external reality. Accompanying symptoms can include intrusive thoughts, lack of physical sensation, forgetfulness, lack of pleasure in life, or the development of multiple distinct identities. Individuals may also experience a disconnection between thoughts and difficulty determining reality and hallucinations.

Dissociation can be triggered by life events or occur gradually, in short episodes or greater stretches of time. Dissociation is not a sustainable coping mechanism. Individuals experiencing symptoms can find relief by seeking professional help including a diagnosis, counseling and possibly medication.
