Description
Janey integrates philosophical, psychodynamic, and psychoanalytic schools of thought to work with unconscious dynamics that emerge and add to the struggles of every-day-life. She has a decade of experience working with childhood trauma, comorbidity, and family systems in a community mental health setting.
Janey’s approach is rooted in the belief that the best therapy is found in restorative relationship to self, others, and community. And she works to facilitate a consistently welcoming environment to cultivate curiosity about the Self. She works to identify patterns within relational dynamics to self and others, in order to to increase adaptability to adversity and engagement in community.
