How We Get There
ACT, Client-Centered, Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Integrative Couples Therapy (EFT & Gottman), Solution-Focused
Katie provides therapy to adolescents and adults undergoing life changes, anxiety/depression, identity issues, and trauma. She works from the framework of systems theory, and utilizes Solution-Focused Narrative Therapy as her clinical lens as it empowers clients to find their preferred story, and turn that narrative into reality using existing strengths and skills.
She works intentionally around multicultural issues and is passionate about social justice in and outside of the therapy space. Decolonizing her practice of therapy starts at the beginning of the therapeutic relationship. Katie will prioritize creating a transparent and safe space that empowers client’s to achieve their goals.
