Description
Shane endeavors to create a safe and confidential therapeutic environment in which to partner with clients to work through the hurts, trials, and challenges life brings. Shane's background includes nearly two decades of work in pastoral and counseling settings—experience that grounds his approach to counseling and his anthropological conviction that each and every person matters and is imbued with dignity and value. For clients, this means they can count on a caring and empathetic partnership approach to therapy that creates space to process and better understand life’s trials and challenges.
Additionally, this means clients can count on receiving acceptance, respect, and compassion while in pursuit of greater hope, purpose, meaning, and growth, among other client goals. Shane's therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from several different therapeutic modalities, and includes working with each client to really understand their values, worldview, and story. This also includes working together with each client to better understand their unique bio-psycho-social-spiritual nature and experiences.
