How We Get There
Art Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Archetypal Therapy, Christian Counseling, EMDR, Play Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy
Using a Psychodynamic and Person-Centered approach, Faith seeks to create a safe, warm, and supportive atmosphere to facilitate healing. She believes that each client is the expert on their own experience and works to help her clients find empowerment by understanding and accepting parts of themselves that may feel unseen and unknown. Getting to know these parts using curiosity, humor, and unconditional positive regard, Faith hopes the therapy process can shed new light on a pathway toward wellness.
Faith believes every person has inherent value and strives to help her clients recognize their unique gifts and abilities, separate from their circumstances. Recognizing that the path to healing looks different for everyone and can often feel daunting, she is committed to walking with her clients wherever their paths take them. By guiding clients through the process of engaging with difficult circumstances and uncomfortable parts of themselves, Faith hopes that clients will gain more self-compassion and become empowered in their well-being.
Faith has over 10 years of experience working with young people and personalizes the therapeutic process for the specific needs of each client. This may look like using aspects of play, games, art, books, music, mindfulness, or integrating the client's unique interests to make therapy more engaging. Faith is committed to coming alongside each of her clients where they are and creating a therapeutic space that honors the uniqueness and beauty of each individual.
